Hosted by Professor Hauke Heekeren und Professor Ulman Lindenberger The annual Paul B. Baltes Lecture was initiated by the Departments of Psychology at the Universities in Berlin and Potsdam and by the Max Planck Institute for Human Development to commemorate Paul B. Baltes’s achievements for psychological research and his contributions to psychology. Since 2008, leading scientists have been invited to give talks on their current research, among them Michael Posner, Lynn Hasher, John R. Nesselroade, Andrew N. Meltzhoff, Jutta Heckhausen, Wendy A.
