Good Scientific Practice
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) (German Research Foundation)
The resolution passed by the German Research Foundation’s (DFG) General Assembly on 17 June 1998 stipulates that researchers in receipt of funding from the DFG must comply with its rules on safeguarding good scientific practice. In accordance with these recommendations, universities and other research institutions which request or receive funding from the DFG (as does the Berlin School of Mind and Brain and the RTG 2386 Extrospection) must implement Rules 1 to 8 to safeguard good scientific practice at their institutions.
The additional and updated recommendations were approved by the DFG's General Assembly on 3 July 2013.

Humboldt Graduate School
Humboldt Graduate School has published an online course (in German) with basic information which answers many of the question junior researchers might have. This online course is not a substitute for one of the taught Good Scientific Practice courses which are part of M&B's doctoral program curriculum.
Cases of presumed scientific misconduct
At HU Berlin, there are Ombudspersons at the university level and a committee that investigates allegations in this area.
