The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) has awarded the Berlin School of Mind and Brain with four scholarships for international students, each for three years.

Terms
- To be eligible for this scholarship, you will have to go through the general applications routine for our doctoral program first:<link doctoral-program application> www.mind-and-brain.de/doctoral-program/application/
- Two DAAD scholarships from 2013 (3-4 years)
- Two DAAD scholarships from 2014 (3-4 years)
- Applicants must be non-German nationals (1) applying from abroad or (2) not resident in Germany before 1 February 2012
Conditions
- Scholarships: 1,000 euro tax-free scholarship per month
- Travel support to Germany
- Health, accident and personal liability insurance
- 460 euro in annual research support
- If applicable: additional family support
- If applicable: funding for German language course
